Currently managing the sale of a specialised software and technology platform company in partnership with a boutique investment bank located on the West Coast of the United States.
Capital raising for a health drink company
Currently managing a capital raising for an exciting ‘new to market’ functional water product, targeting a number of large non-alcoholic beverage distribution companies.

Assisted senior management of a large international apparel wholesaler and retailer with their 5 year strategic planning process to ensure that the organisation has a clear, focused growth strategy that is underpinned with the necessary capabilities.
Mining Services Debt Restructure
Advised owners/directors and CFO of a mining services company with over $100m in annual revenues on a debt restructure following the suspension of two large mining contracts. B&Y completed a detailed assessment of all excess mining equipment; assisted with the preparation of robust cash flow projections; and prepared an information memorandum with a debt restructure proposal. We also identified and quantified a number of cost saving initiatives.
Surfwear Wholesaler Capital Raising
Advised the owners of a successful Australian surwear company on a US capital raising and a potential back-door listing in the US working closely with one of Barrack & York’s US investment banking partners. Prepared an investor information memorandum.
Wholesale Bakery Acquisition
Advised a private investor on the acquisition of a wholesale bakery distribution business. Completed a commercial business assessment and business valuation of the target company on behalf of the purchaser and negotiated a sale price with the vendor. Documented a letter of offer for the vendor specifying key terms on behalf of the purchaser.
Trade Sale of an Eyewear Retailer and Optometry Business
Managed and completed the trade sale of a successful, high-end eyewear retail and optometry business to an ASX listed company. Reviewed financials, prepared normalised profit and loss statements, completed a business valuation, prepared an information memorandum, managed enquiries from purchasers, identified preferred buyer, managed due diligence process, negotiated key terms, managed legal documentation and organised completion of the transaction.
Mining Company Take-Over
Advised the board of a private mining company on a take-over offer from an ASX listed mining company. Completed an independent review of our client’s financials and growth prospects; valued our client’s company; and advised client on whether the take-over offer from the listed mining company was commercially reasonable.
